School Fees

At Berkhampstead School we aim to offer an outstanding independent education at a competitive price.

We understand that choosing an independent school is a significant decision for families, and we are proud to be one of the more affordable independent school options in the area, without compromising on quality, care, or opportunity.

"Research consistently shows that the greatest educational impact comes from investment in the earliest years, when children’s brains, confidence and learning habits develop most rapidly” (Department for Education; Public Health England; Education Endowment Foundation)

What's included in the School fees?

Our fees are designed to be as inclusive and transparent as possible. Included as standard:

  • High-quality independent education
  • Full school day provision
  • Nutritious morning snacks
  • Freshly prepared lunches
  • On-site catering team led by our experienced Catering Manager
  • Specialist teaching in key curriculum areas
  • Music, French and Games (across every age group)

As a school with charitable status, all income is reinvested directly into facilities, staffing and educational provision for our pupils. Unlike many independent schools now operating under for-profit ownership, we remain a charitable organisation, ensuring that every pound parents invest goes straight back into enriching the education and experience of our children.
